Course Description

This 4 day instructor led Splunk® Enterprise Ninja course covers the four (4) basic Splunk concepts every Splunk® Enterprise should know from Architecture, Installation and Patching, to Data onboarding, Troubleshooting and Searching.

Also included are your very on seven (7) ec2 instances in AWS to build your own lab “from scratch” including:

– A search head cluster (3 instances)
– A indexer cluster (2 instances)
– Heavy Forwarder (1 instance)
– Cluster Manager / Deployer / Deployment Server (1 instance)

Each instance make use of t3a.small sized instances which are 2 vCPU with 2GB RAM and each comes with public IP and security certificate for the SSH connection.

Prerequisites

It is recommended that you take our Fundamentals 1, 2 and 3 courses as well as our Systems & Data Admin courses prior to taking the Ninja course. In lieu of taking the above courses, 2 – 3 years of Splunk® Enterprise or Splunk® Cloud experience will also work.
