This Is The Season Of New Courses, Instructor-led Training Sessions, Donations, Promotions, and More!
It’s November and a lot is going on around here at Ableversity. We are proudly releasing our new “Ableversity Splunk Admin Course”, by Ms. Hailie Shaw. This course will help members build on the concepts they obtained while completing the “Zero to Power User” course in order to jump-start their Splunk admin career. They will learn the concepts of how Splunk is deployed, manage licenses, configure applications and indexes, set up forwarding, receiving, and much more. This course can be accessed by our Silver, Gold and MVP members.
Additionally, starting this month Ableversity has launched promotional pricing of our Silver memberships for $1 for the first month and then $9.95 per Month. Our Gold memberships are $2.00 for the first month and then $14.95 per month. Last but certainly not least our MVP memberships start at $3.00 for the first month and then $19.95 per month. The MVP was originally priced at $29.99 per month prior to this promotion. But if you need more of a reason this season to join then let me tell you something…..
This month Ableversity introduces their 1st annual “Food for Thought” Fundraiser. During November, Ableversity will be donating to local food banks for the first 100 members who sign up for an MVP membership. After October’s live 3rd Thursday’s training session, Hailie had our brains firing on all cylinders with her take on the CIM. Hailie’s prowess when it comes to Splunk is impressive, to say the least, and we cannot wait to unleash even more Splunk how-to on the community at large.
November’s 3rd Thursday’s Instructor-led training topic will be “The Data Pipeline” with special guest Michael Bentley, the Founder of Ableversity. In this session, Hailie will review the overall larger picture of how data is ingested into Splunk and the path that the logs take. She’ll cover the data pipeline, the props.conf magic 6, and data preview for formatting log ingests. This session will occur on November 17th, 2022 at 7 PM EST and will be available only to our MVP members. Michael Bentley will be crowd sourcing other Instructor-led training topics on LinkedIn later this month in order to pick topics for future sessions.
