A Brand New Year & A New Training Course!
To celebrate the beginning of the new year, Ableversity would like to announce Hailie Shaw’s new Splunk Data Admin Course. This course continues your administrator course path with reviewing how to configure forwards, and implement heavy forwarders. At the end you will gain a strong understanding of forwarder management as well as reviewing how data flows into Splunk and how to tune your inputs. This course will help you master the parsing phase and leverage data preview to massage your raw data sources. This will allow you to learn by doing because it contains hands-on labs.
This month’s Third Thursday’s Instructor-led training session will be on January 19th at 7:00 PM ET. This month’s topic will be Deployment Servers. We will be going over everything related to Deployment Servers and discuss how to leverage them to make your management of forwarders and their conf files a breeze. Learn how to set one up and configure it using best practices. A review of server classes, clients, and how to push out apps to our deployment clients will be covered here. Learn how to work with Deployment Servers and better manage your distributed environment. We hope to see everyone there for Ableversity’s 1st Third Thursday of the year!
